I hope they come up with some better new songs. I got a recent show from Dime and the new material was pretty bad. They still do the old songs good, though.

Not really thinking a new album will be that great. But they will play the whole first album on tour so that's cool

Yeah? That's good. There's no reason why a new album can't be good. One Way Ticket was great. The Hot Leg album was very good. But the 4-5 new songs I've heard have just been awful, I think.

The Hot Leg album is indeed very good, better than OWT I think. I'd heard that the new album will mainly consist of songs already floating around so probably the stuff you heard will be on it.

The "new" ones in the show I downloaded were Every Inch, Cannonball, Pat Pong, Concrete and Nothing's Gonna Stop Us. Do you know of any others?

Honestly have no idea. I haven't heard any of those songs, or heard any other titles, just don't have the time or energy to pay much attention to this stuff these days.

Show tonight, gonna see if I can taptalk pix straight here - not because any of you care, or I care about any of you, but just to prove I can do it. If I'm close enough for decent pix that is.

Obviously I'm a biased fanboy, but The Darkness rocked - were much better than I even expected. Totally sold out show with most of the audience really into it except some weird drama playing out in front of me with a girl upset being comforted by a male friend neither of whom were into it wanting to leave and chatting/texting the whole time, but the girl's boyfriend totally ignoring both of them and getting into it. People are weird.

They played 5 new songs, all of which sounded pretty good live though might not be so great on cd

Gary, if you're going make sure you are there for the second band Foxy Shazam, not sure if they are good but very entertaining and all totally nuts. Didn't get any good pix, but here are some from the show.
